With this professional and medical license search it is possible to get verification on a professional license (such as your doctor) that someone claims to have. This search can return a lot of information including: the license holders name and address, if they are deceased, license type and number, degree, date of issue, date of expiration, and any Disciplinary Actions taken against a medical doctor.
The following chart leads you to the professional license searches state by state excepting the ones which do not have any professional licenses available yet or I have not found them yet. Most of these are medical/physician searches.

License Number Searches:
A match is queried by the beginning of the number and continuing for as many characters as you specify. You might improve your chances of finding a match by typing only the first few characters of the license number. Depending upon the state being searched, you may need to prefix the license number with a license type code.
Name Searches:
Capitalization doesn't seem to matter, but the exact spelling does. Because a match is queried starting at the beginning of a last name and continuing for as many letters as you specify, you may improve your chances of finding a match by typing only the first few letters of the last name. However, if you wish to specify a first name, you must correctly type the entire last name. Searching by the first few letters of a last name will give you a better chance of locating the information you want, although you will end up with more names to sift through.
Town/City Searches:
A match is sought starting at the beginning of a town name and continuing for as many characters as you specify. You may improve your chances of finding a match by typing only the first few characters of a town or city.
